All graduates will be notified to their CCNY email address regarding degree conferral/diploma availability.
Hey! Need a Summer 2016 Course to Graduate?

September 2016 graduates who applied for June 2016 graduation must register for their remaining required classes in Summer 2016.  Courses are filling quickly and seats cannot be guaranteed.  To enroll in a summer class, you must fill out the cancellation of graduation form and submit to the Registrar's Office as soon as possible.  Enrolling for summer classes will NOT affect your particiaption in the June 3 commencement ceremony.  Within 3 to 5 business days of cancelling your application, you will receive an appointment to enroll in summer session classes.  Don't forget to apply for September 2016 graduation as soon as the new application opens.  If you are graduating June 2016 and wish to take a summer course, you must apply to the Office of Admissions as either a second degree or a non-degree student.

Please contact the Registrar's Office, see below at the bottom of the page for contact information, if you have any questions.

Congratulations and enjoy the June 2016 Commencement festivities!

New ePermit Procedure

Effective Winter 2016, the submission process for an ePermit request will no longer be done through the CUNY Portal.  The new ePermit process will be done through CUNYFirst in Self-Service.  Access to submit an ePermit request will be available when enrollment for the Winter 2016 session begins.

This new process will be more efficient, allowing students to enroll seamlessly for courses throughout CUNY.  This new functionality will allow students to select a course(s) and find the equivalent course(s) at other CUNY institutions based on established CUNYFirst Transfer Rules.

As a reminder, an ePermit does not automatically register a student for a course at the Host College and being issued an ePermit does not guarantee enrollment at the Host College.  Once you have enrolled at the Host College, cancellation of an ePermit does not delete your course registration.  For further information see "E-permit Instructions for CCNY Students"

We have the answers. The Office of the Registrar at The City College is responsible for all student records — both while you're enrolled and after you graduate. Please don't hesitate to contact us, we'll be happy to assist you.
