Vice President for Communications and Marketing
Joining CCNY in August 2013, Dr. Hill was most recently Director of Marketing and Creative Services at Prince George's Community College in Largo, Maryland where she has served in different capacities for the last 12 years. PGCC is a large, diverse and multicultural institution with an enrollment of 44,000 students.
As a college administrator, Dr. Hill led the effort to advance the institution as one of the top choices for higher education and workforce training among area residents, as well as community and business leaders. Her creative efforts have won numerous awards and citations in print, broadcast and video categories including 13 Medallion Awards for excellence in communication and marketing campaigns last year. She received her Bachelor of Arts from South Carolina State University and her Masters at The American University. Her Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration was attained at Morgan State University.
Prior to Prince George's Community College, she served as Director of Communications at Goucher College, a selective liberal arts institution, where she was responsible for increasing national awareness through a comprehensive communications and media relations program. During her three years there, she effectively communicated Goucher's story via national media placements focusing on scholarly achievements of students and faculty.
