City College Academy for Professional Preparation

Students in a computer lab

CCAPP provides science, architecture and pre medical and allied health professions students with a supportive community of fellow students, faculty and staff that enriches their lives, promotes their academic success and prepares them for entry into professional careers and/or graduate programs.

CCAPP serves students throughout their college career – beginning with a summer program for entering students that prepares them for their first college-level courses and gives them a head start in their majors.  It continues with tutorials, block registration, counseling and student-to-student mentoring, as well as career counseling, participation in professional conferences, and review courses to prepare for graduate and professional school.

CCAPP students regularly number among the highest-achieving City students each year.
