Continuing and Professional Studies

A centerpiece of the College’s commitment to strengthening and engaging our community, the Continuing and Professional Studies program at City College supports students of all ages as they prepare for college, transition to new careers, and upgrade their skills.  Our partnerships with small businesses in our community through such organizations as Acción, Channel 41, Small Business Services, the Small Business Administration, and the Audubon Partnership for Economic Development help us to help our students find work, and we offer seminars on the development of business plans, ways to secure business loans, and minority certification of business.

We reach beyond Harlem and Washington Heights to provide training and job preparation in Queens, Staten Island, the Bronx, and Brooklyn.  And we work with academic departments at City College in an effort to provide continuing education to City College alumni as well as licensed professionals.
