College Assistant Benefits

Here is a snapshot of the eligibility requirements for health benefits:

• You must work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• You must be appointed for a minimum of 500 hours for the fiscal year.
• You must complete a 90 day waiting period.

DC 37 Benefits (Vision, Dental and Prescription)

• You must work at least 17 1/2 hours per week.

If you meet these criteria, please contact DC 37 at 212-815-1234.

Please note:  All college assistants will have deductions made from their check for union dues.  It is your responsibility to contact DC 37 to have those deductions stopped if you do not meet the above conditions.
