As a new student, you must fulfill several requirements from various offices and divisions before you can begin classes in the Fall. This website guides you through the various actions you must take to complete requirements by the stated deadlines so that you can avoid delays and penalties.
City College New Student Orientation is a great opportunity to experience life as a City College Student. At New Student Orientation, you will register for courses, and get the tools you need to start the first day of class. You will also learn about academic and student involvement opportunities, become familiar with our campus traditions, learn how to access City College services and resources and meet the City College Community. City College New Student Orientation has sessions for first year, transfer students and International students. The information given at sessions is based on the student’s chosen area of study. International students will receive their Orientation appointments by email.

Before you RegisterNew York State Public Health Law 2165 and 2167, and Title 10 New York Codes, Rules and Regulations Subpart 66-2 (10 NYCRR Subpart 66-2) mandates that all incoming students born after December 31, 1956, must be immunized against measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) before registering for classes. After you Register
Activate your CityMail Email Account. Your CityMail email is the main way for City College to communicate with you. Here the College will send alerts about your bill and other information crucial to your transition to City College. To find out how, go to Email and Portal Accounts.
Activate your Citizen CUNY Portal Account. Citizen CUNY Portal is your secure and private one-stop access to all your CUNY records. Through Citizen CUNY, you can securely view private information such as financial aid information, register for courses, access BlackBoard and learn about services and benefits offered through CUNY.
Review and pay your bill. Your tuition due date is based on the date you initially registered for classes. You will receive an alert at your CityMail email address, telling you when your bill is available.
