  • Profile

Dr. Rodriguez-Contreras is interested in understanding how the structure and function of the brain change during development. He uses a combination of anatomical, electrophysiological and optical techniques to study the development of auditory brainstem circuits involved in sound localization.

  • Education

Ph.D. in Neuroscience, University of Cincinnati, 2001
B.Sc. in Biology, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, 1997

  • Courses Taught

Biology 35400 - Introduction to Neurobiology (Fall)
Biology 45400 - Sensory Perception (Spring)
