I-Hsien, Wu, Ph.D., Columbia University. Assistant Professor of Chinese Studies, Department of Foreign Languages. Professor Wu's research interests include late–imperial and modern Chinese Literature, Heian Japanese Literature, Chinese music theory and modern ethnomusicology. She is working on a book-length study on The Story of the Stone, titled "The Journey of the Stone: Rites of Passage and Literary Inquiry in Dream of the Red Chamber."
