Profile
Professor Lewis is a specialist on European decolonization after World War II. He has taught a variety of courses on 18th, 19th, and 20th century Europe, imperialism, nationalism, and north Africa. He has published three lengthy articles on colonial services and decolonization, and is now working on another article and a book in this area. These are all based on research in archives, many of them uncatalogued.
