Venus Green

Professor Green's research examines the convergence of race, gender and technology in the workplace. Nationally and internationally, she has presented papers at conferences and published articles about her work. Among the various post-doctoral honors she has received, the most recent was The British Academy Visiting Scholar Award. Her book, Race on the Line: Gender, Labor and Technology in the Bell System, 1880-1980 (Duke University Press), was published in Fall 2000.
