Starting October 1, 2013, you will be able to shop for and enroll in the health insurance plan that meets your needs through the New York Health Benefit Exchange. The Exchange will help you and your family enroll in health insurance coverage. You may also receive financial assistance to help pay for it. Affordable Coverage in the Health Insurance Marketplace
Online enrollment for the new CUNY-United Healthcare Insurance plan is open through February 28, 2014. CUNY students registered for 6 or more credits are eligible to enroll. Coverage begins on the first day of the month you enroll.

The New York City Office of Citywide Health Insurance Access offers comprehensive information about available health insurance options. Check out their website to find a plan that is right for you. In collaboration with the Mayor's Office of Health Insurance Access (MOHIA), Student Health Services invites insurance enrollers on campus to speak to students regarding health insurance options.
