Professional counseling assistance is available for students with immigration concerns, or academic and personal difficulties. Expert immigration advice is also available for U.S. "green card" holders who wish to become U.S. citizens.

The Office assists students and scholars in obtaining Social Security cards, employment permission, drivers licenses, bank accounts, foreign exchange permits, military service deferrals and other items affecting overseas citizens who are adapting to life in the U.S. while pursuing their education.
