The Office of International
Students & Scholar Services assists students and scholars who
are not permanent residents of the U.S. with a variety of academic
and counseling support services.
Professional counseling assistance
is available for students with immigration concerns, or academic and
personal difficulties. Expert immigration advice is also available
for U.S. "green card" holders who wish to become U.S.
citizens.
The Office assists students and scholars in obtaining Social
Security cards, employment permission, drivers licenses, bank
accounts, foreign exchange permits, military service deferrals and
other items affecting overseas citizens who are adapting to life in
the U.S. while pursuing their education.
