Spitzer M.Arch Student Featured

Third-year M. Arch student Pedro Cruz Cruz’s article on the street vendors in Corona Plaza was published as the main feature on Urban Omnibus, a publication of the Architectural League of New York.

This piece grew from his research in the year-long Masters Unit 25, Building Culture, which combined ethnography with speculative design practices. Pedro Cruz Cruz is a Puerto Rican architectural designer who is interested in storytelling to visualize and inform artistic and architectural interventions. His research interests involve urban informality and the exploration of socio-political, cultural, and temporal relationships in public spaces.

Pedro is currently a fellow at Social Practice Queens, and a Community Planning Fellow at the Fund for the City of New York.
