2 B.A.s, 1 B.S., and 1 M.A. Our Family is Growing!
B.A. Social Justice and Urban Life (NEW!)
The new B.A. in Social Justice and Urban Life goes beyond textbooks, offering students real-life learning experiences and providing an interdisciplinary framework for analyzing social justice issues and inequalities within urban communities. Students will embark on a journey that blends coursework, experiential learning, and public lectures, culminating in a capstone project.
B.A. Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences
Our B.A. Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences is a versatile program tailored for working adults and transfer students, seamlessly blending classroom learning with real-world relevance. Offered in both in-person and online formats, our curriculum is meticulously crafted to empower students by integrating academic knowledge with practical applications, preparing them for success in the workplace and beyond.
B.S. Early Childhood Education
Our B.S. in Early Childhood Education Program emphasizes how diversity-related issues can effectively support student learning and have a positive impact on schools, especially in urban settings. As part of the School of Education, we recommend our graduate students for New York State Initial Teacher Certification in Early Childhood (Birth-Grade 2), and hold accreditation by CAEP.
M.A. Study of The Americas
Our M.A. in the Study of the Americas offers diverse interdisciplinary perspectives, covering areas such as literature, anthropology, history, philosophy, urban studies, cultural studies, film, and political science. Topics include race, gender, human rights, contemporary politics, immigration, and popular culture. With a wide range of courses available, students gain a comprehensive understanding of the region.
