City College Libraries: Building a Culture of Appreciation & Inclusion at Work

In this workshop, we will discuss steps that each member of the CCNY Library community can take in building and strengthening a culture of appreciation and respect for the contributions of each person. Creating a space of safety and trust, and looking at both lateral and vertical relationships, we will identify areas of opportunity, focusing on communication (verbal and non-verbal) and the cues that we send to signal recognition of each other's labor
