Edging the Abyss: Voices and Discussions
on the Middle East

Join us at the Rifkind Center on April 18 for a talk by Ahmad Mahmood from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He will discuss the history of the Palestinian city of Nablus – told through its sewage system.  

Ahmad Mahmoud is a PhD Candidate in the Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies Department at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, writing about the history of public health in the cities of Haifa, Tiberias and Nablus.
