Financial Assistance Organizations

The Foundation Center  is the world's leading source of information on philanthropy, fundraising, and grant programs.

The National Health Service Corps offers loan repayment and scholarships to primary care providers and student for serving at NHSC sites.

The Hebrew Free Loan Society administers three scholarship programs for the UJA-Federation of New York. This program provides approximately $1 million to students with financial need, primarily in the New York City metropolitan area.

National Medical Fellowships (NMF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing the number of underrepresented minority physicians and other professionals in the healthcare workforce in order to improve access to quality healthcare in medically underserved communities.


National Student Clearinghouse

The National Student Clearinghouse offers services to assist students to track their student loans and obtain verification of their in-school status.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services

Created as a separate bureau by the Homeland Security Act of 2002, USCIS allows the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to improve the administration of benefits and immigration services for applicants by exclusively
focusing on immigration and citizenship services.

The Federal Student Aid Ombudsman of the U.S. Department of Education is a dedicated to helping resolve disputes related to Direct, FFEL, and Perkins loan programs.
