About
CInC is The City College of New York's initiative for campus-wide innovation and commercialization. Working across CCNY's schools and divisions, CInC helps faculty move promising research toward real-world impact through startup ventures, industry partnerships, and pathways into the broader New York City innovation ecosystem. CInC connects faculty innovators with funding and mentorship and builds the campus infrastructure CCNY needs to carry research from the lab to the marketplace.
President's Innovation Fund (PIF)
CInC's flagship program is the President's Innovation Fund (PIF), a competitive seed grant that supports CCNY faculty in the earliest stages of commercializing their research. Applications are reviewed by a faculty committee, with final decisions made in consultation with CCNY President Boudreau. Learn more about PIF here.
Leadership
CInC is led by Director Andoni Mourdoukoutas, PhD. Andoni oversees CInC's grant making, faculty engagement, and industry collaborations. He works closely with CCNY faculty, the Foundation for The City College of New York, and external partners to grow CInC's programming in support of faculty commercialization. CInC is housed within CCNY's Office of Institutional Advancement, Communications & External Relations (OIACER), led by Senior Vice President Dee Dee Mozeleski.
