Division of Science Scholarship Application 2018

Eligible students must be majors in one of the departments in the Division of Science: Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Geology (EAS), Environmental Earth System Science (EESS), Mathematics, Physics ; must have earned 24 credits at CCNY, a GPA =>3.0 overall, and a Science/Math GPA =>3.0.

Keep in mind that these are highly competitive scholarships. All sections of this application are taken into consideration in determining scholarship recipients.

A complete application consists of:

  • This cover page
  • Student's Personal Information form printed or typed.
  • An unofficial transcript(s) showing your academic record at City College and other colleges attended.
  • A personal essay (double-spaced).
  • One letter of recommendation to be submitted directly by a City College faculty member who is familiar with your accomplishments, abilities, and potential.

The completed application is due March 30th, 2018 and should be submitted to:

Receipt of a scholarship may, depending on the nature of the award, affect the amount of any state and federal aid for which a student may be eligible.
