Welcome to ARHAMP
The Applied Research in the Health and Adaptation of Minority Populations (ARHAMP) lab investigates:
- The impact of adverse experiences over the life-course on mental health and on health-risk behaviors such as tobacco, alcohol, and substance use.
- The factors that can help the individual effectively cope with the stress induced by these experiences, and
- The intersection of social, environmental, psychological, and behavioral determinants of health disparities.
