BME Concentration

Students whose primary major is not in BME may elect to enroll in the biomedical engineering concentration. This 15-credit program is available to select CCNY engineering majors (Chemical, Electrical, and Mechanical). Research opportunities may be available to students doing the BME concentration by directly contacting faculty of interest.

To complete the concentration, students must take a total of five courses:
  • Required: BIO 32100: Physiological Processes
  • Required: ENGR 30000: Social, Economic and Cultural Impact of Biomedical Technology
  • Three BME course electives

Please reach out to Dr. Payton, the BME undergrad advisor, if this sounds like you!
