Site-Responsive Work: A Harmonious Approach

Sculptor Natalia Zubko discusses her process, the importance of collaboration, and the integrative philosophy behind her large-scale sculptures and environments. This lecture will be of particular interest to students working in 3D art and design.

Sculptor Natalia Zubko, a California-native who has lived and worked in Brooklyn, NY since 2003, illuminates and transforms spaces striping away external noise and inviting people to experience a sense of wonder and quiet. Using concepts of light and space, she explores how intimacy can be experienced in vast spaces and vastness experienced in intimate spaces. Zubko regularly exhibits large site-responsive environments & sculptures as well as smaller 2D + 3D works throughout the US.
