What is CCAPP?

The City College Academy for Professional Preparation (CCAPP) is the City College CSTEP Program. CCAPP is funded by New York State Education Department to increase the number of economically disadvantaged students and others who are pursuing professional licensure and careers in mathematics, science, technology and health-related fields.

At CCNY,

• CSTEP provides academic enrichment and research experience in STEM content areas. 
• Projects consist of academic year and summer components including:
  
  
  • Supervised training in research methods
  • Graduate/professional school admissions preparation
  • Standardized tests preparation
  • Academic and career development activities

Eligibility

We encourage all students majoring in science, mathematics, or those from any major participating in the in the pre-health program to engage in CCAPP sponsored activities. Priority for stipend and travel support is given to students in economic need.
