CLINICAL YEAR (SIXTH & SEVENTH YEAR)

M3 CLINICAL YEAR

The M3 year consists of clinical clerkships which provide students with exposure to all medical specialties as they participate in the required clinical rotations of family medicine, psychiatry, neurology, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine, and surgery.  Each of these clinical rotations incorporates important and relevant aspects of preventive, acute, chronic, continuing, and rehabilitative care.  In addition to the core clerkships, all students complete a weeklong intersession and two 1-week sessions for clinical skills assessment.
