Jose (Joestin) Benjamin
Political Science Major
City College Fellow

Joestin is a Political Science major and public policy minor.  A passionate advocate for all things international, political, and legal, he has devoted his academic career to the study of interstate relationships and the legal framework within which both state- and non-state actors operate.  A native of Chicago, he is a senior staffer and administrator at Chicago International Model United Nations (CIMUN), where he develops content on international politics, history, and law for high schools.  Currently, he is a research assistant with the Department of Political Science, where he analyzes state compliance with international law. In his spare time, he likes riding subways and boring his friends with the history of the 1, 2, and 3 trains.
