Tasniah is a junior completing a BA in English with a Creative Writing concentration. She will be starting a BA in Communications fall 2023. Her academic strength has always revolved around her writing. She is drawn to creative nonfiction, memoirs, prose, poetry, ethnic diasporas, voices of first-generation children, and many more. She looks forward to working with Professor Higney on finding ways of including these genres in her research and expanding her interest in Liberal Arts. She has written poetry, short stories, and scripts for short films and plays. When she’s not writing, she enjoys art, music, photography, and keeping up with her favorite magazines.
