NOTICE REGARDING APPOINTMENT

QLess is a cloud-based queue management system that will allow students to join the line virtually or schedule appointments via Zoom.

Students can join the queue by sending a text message, using our website or the QR code. When you join the queue, you'll receive a text message to let you know your estimated wait time. After a short wait, you'll receive a notification that it is your turn to be helped.

Students can make an appointment online with the office of Financial Aid.  Appointments are held through Zoom. As you make an appointment, you’ll receive an email confirmation of your appointment day and time. And as your appointment nears, we'll send you an email confirmation with your Zoom appointment link.

*Important Note: Before making an on-campus or virtual zoom appointment for any of these services, please ensure the following:

  • You filed a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application at www.studentaid.gov 
  • Students applying for New York State TAP must also complete an application at www.hesc.ny.gov
  • Entrance Counseling, Master Promissory Note & Exit Counseling are completed online. If this is your first federal direct student loan, you must complete Entrance Counseling and Master Promissory Note at www.studentaid.gov
  • Federal Loan application must be completed online. Federal loan website
