Victor Almanzar, the star of award-winning theatrical, television and film productions, returns to his alma mater to deliver the David Dortort Lecture in the Dramatic Arts at The City College of New York on Wednesday, May 7. Free and open to the public, his talk, 6 – 8 p.m. in Theatre B of Aaron Davis Hall, is entitled “An Actor's Journey.” From the Class of 2012, Almanzar, who majored in theatre, will share how his CCNY degree led to success on the stage and screen, appearing on Broadway and in productions such as Steppenwolf, Homeland and Empire.
