Dulce M. Garcia, Ph.D., Georgetown University, Associate Professor of Spanish, specializes in late Medieval and Golden age Spanish literature, critical theory, and foreign language pedagogy. CCNY "Outstanding Teaching Award" 2007. Among her publications are Espada, escudo y espejo: el lenguaje como tema en Las novelas de Diego de San Pedro (1996), Conexiones (1st Ed: 1999; 2nd Ed. 2002, 3rd Ed. 2004, 4th Ed: 2009, 5th Ed: 2014), a college intermediate Spanish textbook published by Pearson Education; Fusión (1st Ed: 2010 2nd Ed: 2015) a one-semester intermediate college Spanish textboook; two collections of prose poems: La tarea de estar (1999; 2006) and Adrede (2006), the prologue for Color nocturno (2009), a collection of poems written by Javier Muñoz, a CCNY alumnus, as well as several articles on Hispanic literature.
