Soye is a member of Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, Psi Chi National Honor Society in Psychology, the Golden Key National Honor Society, and the City College Alumni Association. He is a past student affiliate of the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), and the American Psychological Association (APA, Division 1-Society of General Psychology).

Research Interests

Clinical interests include personality and IQ assessment, the diagnoses and treatment of nonverbal learning disabilities in school-aged children, and psychological resilience among at-risk youth. His research interests include mental health service needs of families impacted by HIV/AIDS; HIV+ African-American male caregivers’ perceptions and concerns about life events affecting their children; cancer prevention; and cancer survivorship.
