Industry Mentorship

MENTOR OUR FELLOWS!

Mentorship

The industry mentorship component aims to open doors for Fellows who don’t yet have an extensive network of people in fields of their interest to rely on for guidance and support. Many of our Fellows are still learning about what it’s like to work in their prospective fields, how to distinguish between different career paths, and point themselves towards summer internships or research experiences. In order to address those needs, we work to match them with professionals in their field of interest so students can learn from their mentor’s experiences and gain insight about the current labor market.

To become a mentor, please directly contact our Alumni and Mentor Coordinator, Layana Abu Touq, at [email protected] . For more information, please refer to the Industry Mentorship Guidebook.

Suggested Topics for Mentor-Mentee Meetings

  • Resume and cover letter review (the fellowship helps fellows to revise resumes and cover letters, while a mentor provides deeper insight and refinement of these documents for a field).
