Recent Graduates
Applicants interested in the Account Management and Public Relations specializations at BIC who have a recent undergraduate degree with little or no professional experience must include:
- Completed application
- Resume
- College transcript that demonstrates strong competency in the major area with evidence of serious academic intent and a 3.0 GPA (or equivalent) as well as completion of prerequisite coursework in statistics. Note: the statistics prerequisite may be completed after acceptance into the program.
- Statement of purpose (250-500 words) that addresses the candidate's interest in graduate study at City College
- TOEFL score of 90 or higher and proof of English-language proficiency (for international students of non-English speaking countries)
- Three samples of undergraduate work related to the specialization of interest
- Two letters of recommendation including at least one from a faculty member
Working Professionals
Applicants interested in the Account Management and Public Relations specializations at BIC who are working and/or have related professional experience must submit
- Completed application
- Resume
- College transcript that demonstrates strong competency in the major area with evidence of serious academic intent and a 3.0 GPA (or equivalent) as well as completion of prerequisite coursework in statistics. Note: the statistics prerequisite may be completed after acceptance into the program.
- Statement of purpose (250-500 words) that addresses the candidates' interest in graduate study at city College
- TOEFL score of 90 or higher and proof of English-language proficiency (for international students of non-English speaking countries)
- Three samples of professional work related to the specialization of interest
- Two letters of recommendation including at lest one from an employer that speaks to the candidate's professionalism
