We are eager for the fall semester to begin on Wednesday, August 26th and want to inform you of some special virtual events scheduled to prepare you for the new term. The College's first priority remains the health, safety, and well-being of our students, faculty, staff, and community and as we plan for the fall semester please visit our website for up to date information. We aim to provide services for our Fall 2020 online distance term and ask you to take advantage of the informational sessions available below. Review your email account for updates, meeting links that will be sent to your city email account, and if you have questions contact the virtual front desk.

An informational session for all incoming new and returning students to CWE. Connect with us and receive the most up to date information for Fall courses, advisement and enrollment, class changes, financial aid, and technology updates. More information to follow.
Wednesday, August 12th, @5pm: CWE Town Hall meeting with Dean Mercado
Join us as we reconnect for the new semester, discuss CWE/CCNY updates regarding the challenging times we are all going through. Receive Fall term updates regarding the College and our Division. Not mandatory to attend. All Faculty, Staff, and Students welcome to attend. Additional Dates: 9/16,10/14,11/11 and 12/16.
Monday, August 17th, Wednesday, August 19th, Friday, August, 21st-@6pm Become tech-savvy! Learn to navigate programs for your distance learning courses.
Join Robert Hernandez at these three student workshops geared to learning how to navigate: Blackboard, Blackboard Ultra Sessions, Zoom, Splitting Screens, self diagnose technical issues, CUNY First, and PowerPoint presentations. Open to all CWE students.
Tuesday, August 18th,@5pm: New Student Orientation
A virtual orientation session for all new incoming students at CWE. Get the tools you need to start the first day of class. Learn about academic and student involvement opportunities, become familiar with how our Division works, and learn to access CCNY/CWE services and resources. All new and returning CWE students are welcome and encouraged to attend.
