Noel Mathew is majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Business Administration. As a fellow, Noel plans to use her access to research and mentorship to promote diversity and inclusion in the field of computer science. Noel was first introduced to computer science in her junior year of high school through the Girls Who Code program where she first learned to code. Since then, Noel has taught herself multiple languages and participates in Hackathons that promote women in computer science. Noel’s interest for research lies in business intelligence and data science. As a City College fellow, she is currently researching the establishment of a JupyterHub platform for CUNY, under the advisement of Professor Michael Grossberg.
