Development and Intelligent Control of Aqueous Zinc-ion Batteries for Hybrid Energy Storage Systems

This research develops a low-cost, safe, mildly acidic zinc–manganese dioxide (Zn-MnO₂) battery chemistry for grid-scale storage and pairs it with an AI-driven control layer for hybrid battery energy storage systems.
