Financial Aid/Scholarships

Undocumented students are eligible for state (TAP) financial aid under the José Peralta New York State Dream Act. For more information, please contact the CCNY Financial Aid Office

Undocumented students are, however, ineligible for federal (PELL) financial aid but may qualify for certain private scholarships, depending on the requirements

Some resources that are availible include

NYS Higher Education Services Corporation, which runs TAP financial aid for Dreamers.

DREAM.US offers $25,000 two- and four-year scholarships for prospective CUNY Dreamers.

CCNY’s Macaulay Honors College
If you have an outstanding academic record you should consider the Honors College. If you meet the in-state tuition requirements described above and are accepted into the honors college, you qualify for a full-tuition scholarship, a laptop, and a stipend.

Outstanding international students and students with Deferred Action (DACA) are eligible for: Carnegie Junior Fellows, DAAD programs, Gates Cambridge, Humanity in Action, Public Policy Junior Summer Institutes, Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship, and NYC Urban Fellows. Students with DACA are also eligible for the Ford Foundation Pre-Doctoral Fellowship, Hispanic Scholarships Fund, and Soros Fellowship for New Americans.
