IN2NYC

Are you an international entrepreneur looking to establish your startup in New York City?

We’re so excited to pilot the International Innovators Initiative (IN2NYC), a program established by the New York City Economic Development Corporation.

Here’s how it works:

Foreign entrepreneurs from outside of the United States get an opportunity to start a new business, or expand an existing foreign business, in New York City. IN2NYC will increase student opportunities and contribute to the economic development of New York City.

The entrepreneur will partner with us to launch its efforts, taking advantage of the prototyping facilities and research connections that we offer, and will help CCNY students bring their ideas from concept to market. The foreign entrepreneurs will be able to apply for H-1B Visas, sponsored by an independent American Board of Directors.

Through partnerships on campus with the CUNY School of Medicine, CUNY Advanced Science Research Center, Grove School of Engineering, and the Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture, we offer extensive support especially for startups working especially with connected devices, biomedical devices, software and apps, and sustainability and social impact ventures. We also offer programming for women entrepreneurs.

International entrepreneurs receive:

  • Co-working space

  • Prototyping facilities

  • H-1B Visas for employees

  • Support from Zahn Center staff

Please visit the IN2NYC website for applications, FAQs, additional information, and to submit questions you may have about the program.
