City College’s Center for Information Networking and Telecommunications (CINT) will collaborate with Columbia University (project lead), Rutgers University, and the University of Arizona on a 3-year, $3 million National Science Foundation grant to establish a global internet testbed. The COSMOS Interconnecting Continents (COSMIC) project proposes to develop capabilities that will enhance unique multi-technology and software-defined wireless, optical, and edge cloud network testbed infrastructure to perform groundbreaking collaborative research across the globe.
