Jasmine is a Palestinian-American from Long Island who always wanted to be in the big city. Her major in Anthropology allows her to study the ways cultures evolve and collide, which has always captured her attention. Coming from a Palestinian family, Jasmine has strong interests in the Middle East, specifically regarding the Arab-Israeli conflict. This has led her to research the availability of health facilities for individuals in the West Bank, and she hopes to raise awareness of the insufficient healthcare available for the people in that area.
