Susan Evans is majoring in history and minoring in anthropology. Her research interests lie at the intersection of medical history and gender history. For her research project as a Fellow, she hopes to investigate sex education in the United States during the twentieth century. She has a methodological interest in social history and studying the lived experiences of everyday people, and plans to read more on the theory of biopolitics. In the future, she looks forward to exploring new topics related to historical understandings of medical developments and how science has been informed by social and cultural ideas.
