As many of you prepare to come back to campus this upcoming week, I thought I would update you on our safety policies and procedures.
MASK MANDATE
Starting August 16th, CUNY has implemented an indoor mask mandate for all persons, vaccinated or unvaccinated. There is one condition where you do not have to wear a mask, as outlined in the Chancellor’s memo but in all other situations, a mask is required. The deadline for faculty and staff to provide proof of vaccination has passed. Any faculty and staff who have NOT provided proof are now mandated to get COVID tested WEEKLY. CCNY is now a CUNY/CCNY faculty and staff testing location, along with 19 other site locations. This service and testing location is not open to the public. Archived Everbridge - VaxPass Memo 8/16
USE OF VAXPASS to ACCESS CAMPUS (EMPLOYEES): Employees who complete the vaccination verification process will be able to access the College’s campus with the assistance of a new feature of the Everbridge App called VaxPass. As of the August 16, 2021, the Everbridge App’s CUNY Daily Symptom Tracker will be deactivated and replaced by the VaxPass. Although we are planning our campus return on August 2, 2021, student classroom access is restricted at this time. For student taking part in in-class learning and/or for students who have requested access to campus, you are required to have had the COVID-19 vaccination. Students who have had the vaccination and who are on campus for in-class learning or by request, must show proof of vaccination.
