The AccessAbility Center/Student Disability Services (AAC/SDS) ensures full participation and meaningful access to all of The City College of New York's (CCNY) services, programs, and activities in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, The Amendments Act of 2008, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Fair Housing Act of 1968, and other applicable Federal, State, and local non-discrimination laws. AAC/SDS accomplishes this goal through the coordination and implementation of academic adjustments, auxiliary aids, and support services for students with disabilities.

COVID Reporting

We, as a College, aim to contract-trace, manage, and support those impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in any and every way possible. If you've made the decision to self-quarantine as a precaution, or have been diagnosed with COVID-19, please let us know by calling 212-650-7682 or 212-650-8801. Once we know about your decision, we can work with you to ensure you have the latest information on campus measures and check-in with you from time to time to make sure you're doing well.

Need to request access to come to campus?  Please review our campus access protocol, prior to arrival. Your formal request, using the steps mentioned, must come in 24 hours in advance of your arrival. 

Are you a NEW HIRE?  For new hires needing to access the campus, and who do not yet have a CCNY email address, please complete the non-credentialed campus access request form. You MUST have CCNY faculty or staff sponsorship who support the reason for your access request.

Note: Only Financial Aid documents listed on your CUNYfirst To-Do-List as well as additional Direct Loan request forms must be submitted through the Secure Portal. All documents must be uploaded as a single file. Due to the high volume of documents, please allow at least 6 weeks for processing.

Public Safety

Major updates and emergency situations will continue to be communicated via multiple platforms, including but not limited to CUNY Alerts.  

While all CCNY Students, Faculty and Staff are automatically enrolled and will receive CCNY Specific CUNYAlerts via their College email accounts.  You can easily customize how you receive alerts (via texts, phone calls, emails, etc.) by logging into your CUNYFirst account then going to your CUNYAlert settings. Access to Campus

All campus access must be requested and approved prior to arrival, and all parties will still need to show ID to enter the campus. In addition, you will need to formally request access to the campus by using the steps outlined in the campus access protocol document.  Your formal request must come in 24 hours in advance of your arrival. 

Campus ID services are being performed remotely, please visit www.ccny.cuny.edu/safty/id-office for more information or to arrange to receive or update your CCNY ID.  

Telehealth Resources

The CCNY Counseling Center is open and is providing remote clinical services to actively enrolled CCNY students. Services provided include screening and assessment, crisis intervention, individual short-term counseling, group counseling, referral and case management, and workshops.
