Visualized satellite events in New York, October 4,5,7: Previous Visualized New York conferences have been two full days. This year, they're pushing the envelope and evolving the event by making the main conference one full day, while adding a number of smaller topic-specific data visualization events and workshops during the week of the main conference - October 4,5&7. Speakers for the main event and the schedule of events for the week will be announced soon. Main conference ticket holders for October 6th will have first access to register for satellite events and workshops. For those of you that have never been to a Visualized conference, examples of satellite events done in the past include Visualized:Climate and Visualized:Space, which included speakers presenting brilliant data visualizations focused on those specifiic subjects. This year, you can expect similar type of satellite events focused on social innovation, science, and experimental data visualizations.
