EE Undergraduate Student Organizations

Student Executive Committee:
The purpose of having this committee is to provide a direct and additional channel for students to influence the program. This committee meets regularly with the departmental Executive Committee.

IEEE CCNY Student Chapter:
In addition to helping students to be aware of the latest technologies and to enhance skills by organizing workshops, it also provides student inputs to the faculty on program issues. Currently, this campus organization has more than 100 members.

National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE):
One of the fast growing organization in the School of Engineering. Currently, this organization has more than 200 student members.

Beta Pi Chapter of Eta Kappa Nu Honor Society:
Among many of its objectives, this group seeks to improve the standards of the profession and engineering curriculum. Currently, this organization has 26 student members.

The Latin American Engineering Student Association (LAESA):
Its mission is to be the premier facilitator of students’ endeavors in the mathematics, science, and engineering fields; as well as to help fully develop individuals to their highest potential. Currently, this student group has 203 members.
