Assistant Professor Ahu Aydogan Akseli from Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture shares her skills and expertise in the field of architecture. At CCNY Aydogan Akseli teaches courses relating to construction technology and design while performing her research with her students on dynamic filtration systems. Receiving MSRDC, US ARMY grant, allowed Aydogan Akseli to further focus on the development of engineered growing media with her collaborator Elizabeth Biddinger from Chemical Engineering. Aydogan Akseli's research goal is to improve indoor air quality and reduce energy consumption profile of buildings.
