MEGAN CANDOLFI
PSYCHOLOGY MAJOR
CITY COLLEGE FELLOW
Megan Candolfi is a Psychology major who minors in Anthropology. Her interest in the global epidemic of mental illness and her desire to help and care for others—both human and non-human animals—have led her to aspire to pursue a career in Clinical Psychology. She hopes to gain the tools to work with a wide range of individuals suffering from severe mental disorders and to assist using animal integrated therapies. Currently, she is focusing on two separate research projects: she is developing her own study of the impact of human-animal interaction on mood; and she co-manages an EEG lab that is conducting research on traumatic brain injuries suffered by male soldiers and athletes.
