Nadia was born and raised in Queens, New York. Although she entered CCNY intending to major in International Studies, she changed her major to History when she found that her History courses helped her to develop analytical skills and to contextualize current events.  Nadia is especially drawn to revisionist historians; she seeks to become more aware of the biases that she learned growing up in her particular environment, as well as to gain exposure to alternate perspectives. Nadia's research focuses on the Middle East and she hopes to, one day, earn an advanced degree in History.
