CITY COLLEGE FELLOW
Lukas Lindwasser was born and raised in New York City. He had no sense of direction academically until he moved upstate in 2010 (because of complications with his mother’s auto-immune diseases). There, he started to pay more attention to school and by his senior year of high school, he fell in love with physics and mathematics. Upon graduation, Lukas enrolled in City College to continue studying physics and mathematics.
Lukas is fascinated by the apparent mathematical structure of reality and is drawn to abstract fields of mathematics that have application in physics. Lukas seeks to deepen his understanding of the physical consequences of mathematical theories and to develop physical theories. He hopes to be a part of the generation that solves the quantum gravity problem.
