Application

The seventh year (second year of the second 5-year cycle) of the Graduate Research Training Initiative for Student Enhancement (G-RISE) program began on 5/1/26. Reappointments have been made for continuing trainees; a competition for new trainees is in progress during the spring and summer for a start date of 9/1/26.

The application form is attached below. If a faculty mentor has an eligible trainee and wishes to compete for a G-RISE traineeship, please ask [email protected] to send you a Dropbox File Request link. Then work with the trainee to assemble and submit the materials described in the application form by April 30, 2026 or when a mentor-mentee match has been completed by the CCNY department and provost. Please note: documents must be supplied by both the prospective trainee and the mentor -- and they must be collated as a single pdf and uploaded to the Dropbox link to be considered for review.
