9/22: (MR 1027) Welcome to the Fall 2022 semester! (Lunch, sharing 1 notable summer accomplishment or challenge, ‘Making your Scientific Communication Count’ theme explained)
10/13: (CDI 4.352) Kickoff workshop on 5-minute flash talks for different audiences Beth: general guidelines, specifics for professional conferences Ruth: several more general audiences (newbie group members, other STEM, non-science; SciCafe no-slide format)
*10/27: Flash Talk session #1 with evaluations, in 4 CDI conference rooms. Mentors should attend in the room occupied by their mentee (we will send out a list). Trainee talks will be filmed.
11/10: TBD - Beth may want to do a hour of discussion related to the first round of flash talks. Most likely in CDI 4.352. We will confirm as date gets closer.
*12/8: Revamped Flash Talks #2a (half of them) in CDI 4.352. Mentor attendance encouraged.
*12/15: Revamped Flash Talks #2b (other half of them) in CDI 4.352 (booked) or other venue.
